Hi everyone!
Thank you for tuning in for this week's update! I'm very happy to say that we've already begun our playtests and have been receiving phenomenal feedback! On top of that, we've been receiving more stuff from our art and audio teams that we can begin to implement into our games and really hit the nail on the head in terms of our aesthetic appeal. We have just five weeks left for this semester, but everyone here is really focused on our goals as a whole. I can't wait to get even more feedback this upcoming week during our second week of playtests!
- On-Site Playtests. We completed our first week of playtests and have received such great feedback and comments. We have already begun to implement some of these changes, but the most important thing for us is that we feel more confident in the direction we are going with these games. That being said, we are always continually looking for your suggestions to ensure we are able to meet your needs.
- Additional Implementations. We are so thrilled to have such a great team of artists and audio students here at the Academy of Art University who are able to help us really bring the aesthetic of Adventure Bay together. We're incredibly excited at this opportunity to come together despite being in different departments to create such a wonderful game for great people, and really it's been an amazing and eye-opening experience for us.
Following this week of playtests, we will come together to ensure that we, as a team, are all on the same page as we continue to develop and begin to polish our three games. Your feedback is incredibly helpful for us to let us know we're making things that benefit you the most. The next few weeks will consist of making any changes to the mechanical design of our games based on your comments and really wrapping things up before the semester finishes. Our plan is to have a second and final week of playtests after implementing changes voiced by you. More info about this to come soon!
